Is it safe to get back in the water this summer?

There we were at Kau Point getting set up for an enjoyable dive (just like we had many times before).

Then out of the blue (greenish if you are going by the water colour) we were informed that there was a lost object that needed to be found.
Little did we know that our lovely Sunday morning dive was about to go sideways.

Two dives later (lucky we had planned the dive with such contingencies in mind) after we had searched for and found the equipment and bought it back to land, rescued the ‘damsel in distress’ all whilst keeping a watchful eye out for ZOMBIES.

Yes you just read that, there were Zombies! It was a bit spooky as they would just appear out of the gloom. We thought it best to document the types of zombies whilst staying out of range of them, those that got to close were rendered immobile by the use of top secret device that was available for use.

Once back on land and feeling safe we were put in isolation so we could be tested for infection. Alas two of us as it turned out were infected and had to be dealt with after they were ‘Documented’ with extreme prejudge.

“I really enjoyed the course. Simon was very knowledgeable on the subject, I am not sure but he seems like he may have co-starred on the Walking Dead. Seriously  though the course was fun and Simon was an excellent instructor that challenged our skills.”

“The course was very fun. The information was a bit deeper than I would have thought (which is awesome!) and the diving part with zombies was great. Definitely a course worth looking into for the adventurous diver.”

& so with a heavy heart I must inform you that this little boy is now without his parents.

Orphan

If you wish to avoid his fate I suggest that you sign up and learn the skills required to survive the upcoming Zombie Apocolypse. These include upgrading your bouyancy, search & recovery, rescue and first aid skills. Did we mention that you get to ‘shoot’ zombies?
The next  PADI Zombie Apocolypse Diver Course will be on the 30th of October 2016 – Chat to Simon our resident Zombologist today.
(NB: This speciality diver rating is officially recognised by PADI)
