Our scuba divers at the pool or at the sea

Dive HQ’s Monthly Review – December

Dive Club Wellington Updates

Cam has been busy with Open Water Students over the last month but he must be cursed as all the courses ended up diving in Wellington Harbour. We look forward to taking out our newest divers for some true fun dives soon.

Claire’s been in down in Christchurch running instructor level courses, joined by regular club diver, Camila, who is now a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor!

Dive Club Wellington has been out for some fun dives, Thursdays after work, exploring Claire’s favourite sites Owhiro Bay and Brass Monkey – so join her for your next dive adventure.

Sunday 22nd December – Claire’s Birthday Dive & BBQ (includes cake)
Tuesday 31st December – Club Dive & BBQ to finish the year in style
Wednesday 1st January – Club Dive & BBQ – start the New Year with a dive

Visit Dive Club Wellington for more details.

Have you joined our biggest dive club challenge ever!

This challenge will take us to the deepest known point of the world’s oceans.
Challenger Deep – 10,935m

To date we have dived to 3353.5m and raised $3323

Dr Kareen Schnabel delivered a fantastic Deep Talk about her experiences diving to Scholl Deep, 10,010m below the surface in the Kermadec Trench. A 9 hour journey of exploration and scientific discovery.

We hope you will support our efforts, by diving, donating or participating in other events throughout the year. Visit our Challenge FB page to find out more.

PADI Scuba Diving Courses

Our final Open Water Diver Course for 2024 starts tomorrow night. We have an Advanced Open Water Diver Course next weekend and a Rescue Diver Course starting on the 9th of December. If you are wanting to refresh your skills for summer our last pool session is on the 11th or ask about a sea session.

Different dive adventures require different skills and knowledge and we offer a range of PADI Dive Courses to meet your needs. Try something new in the New Year.

Visit our online store for all your scuba & freediving equipment needs or pop in store for expert advice, gear fittings and in house servicing.
